Tuition Policy for Public IMPACT Classes
If you are mailing the final tuition payment fewer than 7 days prior to a 2-3 hour class/Intro, or 14 days prior to any other class or program, a late fee of $20 will apply and should be included in the amount received. DC IMPACT programs have a limited enrollment in order to maximize the experience of each participant. Our ability to offer programs is jeopardized when participants cancel. For this reason, the initial deposit is absolutely nonrefundable. To cancel your registration in a course, we require written notice at least 7 days before a 2-3 hour class, or 14 days prior to any other class or program ($100 deposits made for some programs are still non-refundable). Thereafter, if a student does not attend or complete the course in which s/he is enrolled, all of the tuition is forfeited. We offer no refunds. To transfer your enrollment to a program other than the program/class time for which you originally registered, we require written notice at least 7 days before a 2-3 hour class, or 14 days prior to any other program. The transfer fee is: $20 for a 2-3 hour class, $49 for any 4-19 hour class or course, and $100 for any course of 20 hours or more. The balance of the tuition will be applied to the new class or course.. Payment Plan: For courses costing $300 or more, you may send a set of checks in advance, dated to finish payment by the end of the course or shortly thereafter.
